Last Lord's Day May 4th, 2008 Slide Show 
     Thankyous were read from Brandon Thomas, his parents and Mike and Shirley for the monetary gift that the church gave him during his surgery. It was very much appreciated. There are still VBS teaching signups available. Mary Alice and Cheree were both sick. Don and Wanda Burkman will be having their 50th wedding anniversary party on May 25th from 2:30-4:30 at the Dean Ave building. Alena Brady will graduate from SE Polk high school on May 18th. Her open house will be May 22 from 5:30-8:00. Bruce Harvey thanked the congregation for prayers and help during his kidney stone April! A big thankyou goes out to Margaret Franklin for hosting the ITBS meeting Friday night. We had a big turn out and a good study. The next ITBS meeting will be at Dave and Joyce Ingles on 6/6 at 7:00. If this changes we will try to post it on the ITBS section of this website.
